Welcome to my blog guys, this time i will share information about printer canon pixma ip 1980. It's old version printer product by canon, canon ip 1980 use cartridge type 830 / DP 40 (Black) and 831/DP 41 (color). All user canon pixma 1980 must have experienced error problem in canon ip 1980. Therefore i will give information about solutions overcome error code in canon ip 1980.
The following is error code canon pixma ip 1980 and the solutions :
- Blink 3 times orange and 1 time green : mechanic error, sensor damaged, roll broken. Solution : wipe roll or put a paper relating to the printer, replace sensor.
- Blink 4 times orange and 1 time green : Waste ink pad full. Solution : reset printer with resetter software
- Blink 5 times orange and 1 time green : error cartridge black or color. Solution : clean cartridge chip, replace cartridge.
- Blink 7 times and 1 time green : same as number 3 :)
- Blink 8 times orange and 1 time green : ink absorbed full. Solution : reset printer with resetter software.
- Blink 12 / 15 times orange and 1 time green : cartridge is not installed correctly. Solution : press resume button 5 seconds, replace cartridge, replace carriage.
- Download resetter software here
- Turn off the printer and unplug power cable
- Press Turn On button printer, then plug power cable
- Press resume button, release all button
- Pres Turn On button
- Run Resetter Software, follow the steps as shown in this picture
